New Panenthe! SEE Screenshots. More Bugs Fixed!
Our team worked really hard to get the new Panenthe out with many bugs fixed.
We still need beta testers help in testing and suggesting new features.
We are coming close to the 1.0.0 public release! Stay Tuned!

The interface looks much better, however as I mentioned before, this is the least important thing, we want 1.0 up and running ASAP with the features required.

Thanks for your input, however, I think the interface is one of the most important thing. ( Again! This is not taking anytime from the developers, I am the designer of it )
I have also mentioned that many bugs were fixed, so again, we are not neglecting the actual development. The developer is doing what they have to do AND FYI, the client Panel is already done.
You making a reply and rushing us on 1.0 is not going to make anything faster. How about this, you login to the beta testing control panel, and post every single bug you can find, and we can possibly release the 1.0 faster.

The new version was much more than just cosmetic. I am going to post the official change log in the beta test area. But as a quick list.
- The client panel is complete.
- Two user to vps mapping bugs were corrected where user maps would not be removed upon deleting a user.
- Several browsing bugs were corrected that related to searching and items per page in various sections of the software.
- A user update bug was fixed that would not allow a user to update their profile.
- Delete confirmations added to all sections to prevent accidental deletions.
- Navigation flow of core VPS sections such as IP management and assigned users has been improved.
- Database updates via live update have been fixed.
- Update scripts via live update were not being deleted after running. This has been corrected.
- VPS operation handling has been corrected. Before database operations would run regardless of the driver output. This has been corrected.
- VPS command stacking is now handled properly with error reporting. The system now gracefully handles multiple VPS command errors along with correct command stacking and execution.
- Data verification has been added to all forms and several anomallys were fixed that related to improper notifications of incorrect data in the User Manager, VPS Manager, and Server Manager.
- Perfomance has been increased throughout the interface with a reduction of queries made on a page to page basis.
- Bugs were fixed in the Welcome Email section that didnt allow correct editing of the welcome emails.
- True navigation selection has been added to make it more clear of where a user is in the panel.
- Several VPS creation driver bugs have been fixed. Most of these pointed to instability with creation and destruction of vps's and also setting of the vps root password. These have now all been corrected and tested stable.
Hopefully this helps clarify. We have a team of developers and the developers that work on the core have been working on the core exclusively. Tom has been helping with the webpage and the interface as we near 1.0.
Thanks,
Mike

I'm liking the new design. I think the design is very important, but like Tom said he is the designer so I don't see how it's wasting time.
If you ask me, you're just inpatient.

The design is a important part, however many people were using HyperVM and the design was not up to scratch, i think its much more important getting the features that have not been implemented up and running, Full Status, Xen, HyperVM Migrater, API, as long as the design is usable it's fine for the moment, however the new design looks good.
We want to use panenthe, however there are a number of other panels being released and I don't want to see panenthe have no interest.
There is still no updated timeline so we have no idea on when an expected release is, we still haven't got passed phase 2, which was due over a month ago.

I had to emphasized once again, the design part was solely done by me, and it didn't take any time away from the designers.
There can be 2000 panels out there for all I care, but that doesn't change that fact that we are going to be one of the best out there with the best security, drivers, features and migrators.
The last timeline we wrote was just a sketch it wasn't an "official" timeline. We didn't want to provide an updated timeline as of yet because we aren't sure of the exact date we are going to release this and that and we also didn't want members of the community to bash on us about not having it out "again".
I am expecting the public release to be out in 1-2 weeks. ( Don't quote me on this though )

You say that, but thats what other panels will also so, the problem is once people have moved from HyperVM to another panel, its unlikely they will want to switch again, and therefore panels that are already released have an advantage, since people want a panel asap.

Thats fair enough, thanks for updating us. It has been mentioned a number of times that the timeline will be updated "today/tomorrow" and never has, thats the only reason why I have mentioned it.
Obviously the public release is important, however I haven't really seen much development in the panel other than small, missing features or bug fixes, compared to a whole Xen driver that needs to be made as well a migration and API.

Indeed, every company would say that, but it's really a see-it-to-believe-it thing. Besides, we are writing a migrator to every single one of them. We are confident that after they see our product, they'll switch to us.

Yes indeed I have actually mentioned that I'll provide an update last week, but our developers have changed their mind so I didn't do an update instead. Again, sorry about this ( should've updated you guys ).

There aren't anything major development scheduled for the 1.0.0 release except for the HyperVM Migrator (hopefully we have time to do this for 1.0.0), install script, server clustering, and a couple other small feature suggestions. Most importantly, bug fixes comes before all of these.
Again, Xen, API system, multi-language support and many important features will come between the 1.0.0 and 2.0.0 release.
Our developers has worked REALLY hard lately to get bugs fixed and whatnot. They were just very busy in the last few weeks so we were delayed. Now we are all back on track trying to get this thing out as fast as we could with fewest bugs possible; to prevent any vulnerabilities and security flaws.
And again, we really appreciate your concern.

So is Xen not planned for 1.0 anymore then? At the moment we are only really looking at the panel for Xen and for openvz in the future. API once again was hoping for 1.0, was hoping for KVM between 1.0 and 2.0
