Question [RESOLVED] Panenthe hanging...
Anytime a VPS node of mine goes down, or I boot it, or gets slow. Panenethe will hang for a very long time while it tries polling the VPS, it wont even timeout.

I've gotta reboot Panenthe to get it working again.

I'm not sure if my problem is related to any VPS nodes I have running but I'm finding the panel to be very slow. It's by far the slowest control panel I've seen.
Is there any way to speed it up at all? I understand it has to collect information but sometimes it isn't doing anything and will just load and sometimes time out. Other times the same pages will load instantly.

Running in VMware with 2GB memory on an intel Quad i7 processor. Plenty of processing power

It has low CPU/RAM usage, I have a suggestion out in the other section for them to speed things up, and they found out that having a lot of SSH sessions is causing this, you can read the thread here :

I am specifically talking about Panenthe just waiting and waiting, if the node is down, or too slow to respond. It will pretty much take out all of Panenthe, and I have to restart the nodes vz services to get it back again.

Hello,

We havent ever experience a complete failure in being able to use Panenthe due to this. The 1.0.5 release introduces a lot of changes in the the handling of polling, if this problem persists after release, please let us know and we will address this directly.

Thanks
